All models were created in Autodesk 3Ds Max, except the "Helium Operation System", this one was createt in Autodesk Inventor (CAD Programm).
Cause of my job, I'm currently working with Inventor/AutoCAD, thats why I doesn't update often ^^, most of the parts are small things.

About how long does it take to make one Or does it depend greatly on the design of the fire arm?
Would drawings of the guns at different view make it a lot easier to transform in to 3d models then the usual one side drawing? ^-^

Nope, always worked with sideview, for the silhouet, the "3D-part" was derived(?is this word correct o.O). from the images or out of the mind.
